My Pets

• Oda Mae: She is a basset hound who has been in the family for over 12 years now. She likes to whine and bark whenever someone comes to our house. She is very friendly and has never tried to bite anyone execpt for Kyle, 'cause lets face it, he is Kyle. Like all basset hounds she has really long ears and short legs. She loves to go camping with our family and chases all the squirrels away. She is great company for walks, and its sad that she is getting too old for all her lively activities.
• Rufus: He is a gray cat with six toes on all four paws and is really dumb. He knocks everything over and no matter how many times you push him away with force, he always comes back. He likes to try to get outside all the time, which is a bad idea, considering he has no claws to defend himself from all the other cats! He likes to "talk" with anyone and always has to be the center of attention.
• Snowball: He is a cat that I found outside by my house. From his name, you can easily guess he is a white cat, with a lot of hair. He isn't too social with anyone from outside of the house, and he likes to sleep in my closet on my clothes. He goes outside a lot during the summer and is a pretty nice cat who likes to lay on the couch.
• The Newts: My family has two newts. They are really small and black. One is fat and the other is really skinny. Sometimes Rufus knocks their little tank over, and they get lost in the living room. These guys are little soldiers and it amazes me that they have lived in my home for over three years now.
